- PHP 8.0 was released on 2020-11-26
- migration guide includes some deprecated/incompatibilities: https://www.php.net/manual/en/migration80.php
This upgrade will be a major upgrade, likely part of other significant MS4W effort (PROJ 7 #198 etc).
