Of note is that today Python 3.9.13 was released, and the announcement strongly mentions that this is the final regular maintenance release, and that the "3.9 branch will only accept security fixes, until October 2025"
My gut feeling is that staying with the 3.10 branch for MS4W 5 final release is important.
(open for discussion though, of course)
